Dural Family Medical Practice is proud to be a well-established medical centre having served multiple generations of families and individuals from Dural, the Hills and Northwest Sydney region for over 25 years.
Our team of doctors, experienced nurses and allied health (physiotherapy, chiropractor, dietician-nutritionist, exercise physiologist, pathology) strive to provide thorough medical care to the people of our local Dural community and surrounding Hills District.

Dr Kevin Aung graduated with a Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor in Surgery in 2010. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in General Practice in the Mid North Coast region and Western Sydney regions. Kevin is passionate about providing evidence-based preventative primary care medicine to his patients. His special interests are in chronic disease including cardiology, gastroenterology, mental health, geriatrics and comprehensive family medicine. Kevin believes that best patient outcomes are achieved via compassionate and honest communication with patients and close patient involvement in the decision-making process. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and likes to read, walk, cycle and row indoors. Kevin looks forward to continuing to provide the highest level of thorough, holistic and compassionate care for Dr Meena Singh’s patients as she retires.
Dr. Radeeka has over five years of international experience in Internal Medicine,surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, anaesthesia and General Practice since her graduation in 2004. Since moving to Australia in 2010 she worked extensively in Emergency Medicine at the Campbelltown Hospital before deciding to move full time into General Practice.
She has completed a Diploma in Child Health and finished her specialist training in General Practice to be recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Radeeka’s special interests include family medicine, women’s and children’s health, mental health, skin cancer medicine and minor surgical procedures. She is passionate about lifestyle medicine and improving her patient’s quality of life. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, exercise and yoga.
Dr Lam graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Sydney in 1988.
He worked in Royal Canberra Hospital, Westmead Hospital and The Children Hospital in his training years where he pursued a wide variety of experience in different areas, including Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neurology,Thoracic Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. He also worked in Emergency Medicine in each of the hospitals he worked, as well as an anaesthetic rotation in Westmead Hospital.
After the hospital training, he worked in the Hunter Valley and Central Coast area for two years in general practice as part of his training. He obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in the early 90s, and later served as the College’s examiner for two years.
Dr Lam has been a general practitioner in the Hills District for more than 30 years and it is very satisfying to be many families’ medical adviser. His interests include paediatrics, diabetics and thyroid diseases, and minor surgical procedures.
Dr Lam has three children who are now in university education. He has passionate interest in photography and taking up golf for sport.
After working for over 20 years at Dural Family Medical Practice, Dr Meena Singh will be retiring at the end of 2021. She will be sorely missed by many of her patients and families, having been an invaluable asset to the local Dural and Hills community the last two decades.
Dr Singh will be confidently entrusting the care of her patients to the other doctors at the practice including our newest team member, GP Dr Kevin Aung (MBBS, FRACGP). Dr Kevin is passionate about providing a holistic, comprehensive and compassionate approach to General Practice, and is looking forward to getting to know and forming long-term relationships with the patients and families at Dural Family Medical Practice.

Dr Mendis graduated from the University of Adelaide before moving to Sydney where she completed her internship and residency years at Westmead, Blacktown Nepean and Fairfield hospitals. She completed speciality training in family medicine and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been working as a general practitioner in the Hills District for almost 25 years. In addition to chronic health care and preventative health checks, her special interests include family medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, mental health and weight management. She is passionate about motivating patients to understand that making positive small changes can result in big differences to their physical and mental wellbeing. When not working Sharmini enjoys reading, going for walks, playing the piano and catching up with her friends and most of all spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr Chang has been the principal GP at Dural Family Medical Practice since August 2021. He is passionate about creating and improving primary healthcare delivery models that provide excellence in General Practice delivery.
He loves the Hills Shire of Sydney, and the family-oriented lifestyle it’s renowned for, and considers it a privilege to provide healthcare for multiple generations of families in the local area.
Dr Chang loves being a GP and has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
