Dr Udara Gunawardane

Dr Udara graduated from UNSW in 2013 with Doctor of Medicine and Honors in Medical Science. He did his internship and residency at St George and Sutherland Hospitals and then went on to work at several hospitals around Sydney. He completed the Australian GP Training program in Wagga Wagga and Temora and worked rurally as a GP for several years before returning to Sydney with his wife and children.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and also holds a Diploma in Child Health. Dr Udara’s interests encompass all aspects of General Practice/ Family Medicine and include Paediatrics, Men’s Health, Aged Care, Chronic Disease Management, and General Health Checks/ Check ups. He also performs Implanon procedures.

Please note that from 1 November 2023, Dr Udara will now be bulk-billing all Pension and Health Care Card Holders, as well as all children under the age of 16. Dr Udara’s books are currently open to new patients.
