At our medical centre in Dural, we offer Iron Infusions to patients with the appropriate clinical indications.
Work Injuries and Work Cover
Navigating workplace injuries can be challenging. Dural Family Medical Practice is proud to be Dural's Medical Centre of expertise regarding work injuries. Your doctors are trained and familiar with the intricacies of WorkCover (previously Workers Compensation) and are here to support you through the entire process, from initial treatment to recovery, vocational planning and return to work. Our goal is to safely get you back to pre-injury duties, and reintegrate into your workplace. We are proud to service and support the staff and employees of many local small and large businesses and companies, including hardware stores, schools, warehouses, nurseries, builders and trades, and corporate offices, to name a few.
Ultrasound Imaging
Dural Family Medical Practice is pleased to now offer Bulk-Billed Ultrasound Imaging Services every Thursday afternoon.
Ultrasounds will be performed by an experienced and fully-accredited sonographer in partnership with View Medical Imaging.
Ultrasound Imaging can be performed for:
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound eg, shoulder ultrasound, hip ultrasound, knee ultrasound
- Abdominal and Kidney/Bladder ultrasounds
- Thyroid and neck ultrasounds
- Vascular ultrasound including arterial and venous doppler ultrasounds
- Lumps and growths eg, lipomas, cysts, foreign bodies, ganglions, tendinopathies.
At this stage, breast sonography, obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound is not available at the practice. Radiologist scan reports will be made available to your GP after around 48 hours.
All external GP and Specialist ultrasound request referrals are welcome. Ultrasound Scan appointments must be made by calling our Medical Centre in Dural on 9651 2077.
