Christopher graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2011. He pursued his hospital residency training years in metropolitan and rural Hunter New England Area Health Service where he worked in paediatrics, surgery, emergency and internal medicine and geriatrics at the John Hunter, Manning Base and Maitland Hospitals. Following his hospital training, Christopher undertook his specialisation in family medicine and completed training being awarded with Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His special interests include diabetes and chronic disease management, men’s health, skin cancer medicine, women and children's health, mental health and minor surgical procedures. Christopher is passionate about disease prevention and considers it a privilege to care for the health of the community. Outside of work he loves spending time with his wife and chasing after his young son.
