Dr Philip Lam

Dr Lam graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Sydney in 1988. He obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in the early 90s, and later served as a RACGP College examiner for two years.

Dr Lam has been a general practitioner in the Hills District for more than 30 years and finds it rewarding to have been the family doctor for many families – including adults whom he looked after as his patients when they were small children themselves. His interests include diabetes and thyroid disease.

Dr Lam has three adult children who are now in university education. He has a passionate interest in photography and playing golf.

Please note that from 1 November 2023, Dr Lam will now be bulk-billing all Pension and Health Care Card Holders, as well as all children under the age of 16. Dr Lam’s books are currently open to new patients.
